Arabium.com has, for the last six years, been the "Arab personals and friends network", matching up hundreds of Arabs with other Arabs as well as with people of every other ethnicity throughout the world.
Arabium strives to provide a friendly and safe online environment where Arabs and others can meet, and was recently praised in an article in Arab American Business Magazine.
Arabium is a PG rated site, but no one under 18 is admitted nonetheless. One element of
Arabium.com that's indicative of the differences between the people joining
Arabium and those joining other sites is the inclusion of certain characteristics in the
Arabium.com “Matchmaker” that aren't a part of the basic search criteria and thumbnail profile summary of other sites, namely: Birthplace (as distinct from Location of Residence), Ethnicity, and Religion.

Arabium is a global site serving the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia, and dozens of other countries.
Arabium’s free membership allows you to reply to email messages initiated by premium members. The exception is "Generic Hello" messages to which free members cannot even reply. Free members can also use the Forum.
Limitations on free memberships:
- Cannot initiate contact on your own
- Basic profile is limited in extent and features
- Cannot use Instant Messaging or Chat
- Cannot control access to their photo gallery
- Cannot block members
- Cannot access the members compatibility test

Arabium is more limited than on other sites. For example, you cannot do a geographic proximity search narrower than country, state, and/or city.

Online for over 6 years, Arabium has approximately 40,000 members, 60% of which are male, 40% female.
Arabium forbids members to disclose email addresses or other contact information in their profiles (though members are free to send their contact info to individual users). Arabium will never disclose members' email addresses or contact information to anyone. Arabium.com asks that members be citizens of their home country.
On the Arabium.com Personals Network:
- Members post personal ads on the Matchmakers
- Other members browse, search, and view those ads and reply if interested
On the
Arabium.com Friends Network:
- Members send invitations to their Personal Friends and to other members of Arabium.com
- Friends reply to invitations by joining the Networks of the members who invited them
- Networked friends interact through photo-enabled blogs
